On the way, we are very glad to stop for you to visit many attractions such as Lang Co Beach, Lap An Lagoon, Hai Van Pass & Marble Mountains. You also can add other places such as My Son HolylandElephant Springs or Bach Ma National Park for this trip. It will be one of the best memories of your trip to Vietnam!

            Lang Co Beach: Lang Co Bay has been recognized as one of the world's most beautiful bays by the World's Best Bay Club. It is a famous area with imposing scenery, mountains and forests, clear blue sea and soft, white sand adjoins each other that many travelers to Vietnam in the past have missed the chance to view this hidden beauty. 

            Lap An Lagoon: It is another part of Lang Co Bay which is an 800 ha brackish water lagoon and a favorite destination for tourist and photographers.

            Hai Van Pass: The Hai Van Pass ("ocean cloud pass") is an approximately 21 km long mountain pass between Hue and Da Nang City. The pass is renowned for its scenic beauty. Presenter Jeremy Clarkson, a host of the BBC motoring program Top Gear, featured the pass during the show's 2008 Vietnam Special, calling the road "a deserted ribbon of perfection—one of the best coast roads in the world."

            Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son): A cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble, Marble Mountains are a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels, and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains is a beautiful place you should not miss in the trip from Hue to Hoi An.

            Elephant Springs (Suoi Voi): About 15 km north of Lang Co Beach, Suoi Voi is a secluded recreation area of crystal-clear waters and lush forest that’s a good stop when you travel by car. The main pool is ringed by huge boulders; one vaguely in the shape of an elephant’s head and cosmetically enhanced to look more like it.

            My Son Sanctuary: My Son is located inside the valley complex of Quang Nam Province, southern Vietnam around 69 kilometers southwest of Da Nang city. From the 4th to 15th centuries, it was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty. Besides Hoi An old town, My Son holy land in Quang Nam is also a place of historical and culture-oriented tourism.

  • Bach Ma National Park: About 40km southeast of Hue, Bach Ma national park was established on July 15th, 1991 with the natural area of 22.031 hectares. The climate here has similar with Da Lat, Sa Pa, Tam Dao. The climate of Bach Ma is appreciated as one of the most comfortable climate zones in the range of Indochina Mountains. Renting a private car from Hue to Bach Ma National Park is an interesting choice that you shouldn’t miss in Hue.

OPTION 1: 1 DAY TOUR HUE – HOI AN

OPTION 2: 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT HUE – HOI AN VIA HO CHI MINH TRAIL
This trip will bring you a new impression of Vietnam culture, history and nature. Hue to Hoi a for 2-day trip you will discover the real mountain life with many Ethnic minority villages on Ho Chi Minh Trail. The wind through in your face and the ability to look around! 
Day 1: Hue to Prao. Overnight at Prao Town 
We start around 8 - 9 am in Hue, pick you up at the hotel and going onto highway Nr. 49 into the surrounding countryside of  Thua Thien Hue province. We enter a new planted jungle was destroyed once during the war by Agent Orange.  See the regrowing nature, enjoy the fresh air is coming down the hills and feel the spirit of freedom. See locals working in the jungle before we arrive the Mau Waterfall is 40 km away from Hue. Here you can swim and relax a bit. Then we are going up to the Ma Oi Pass and driving into an amazing hillside, with huge mountains on the horizon. After this beautiful ride, we reached Bot Do, located at the famous Ho Chi Minh Trail, at 12.30 pm for lunch. Now we ride on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, that follows the Lao Border for some kilometers. There are a couple of minority villages and amazing waterfalls, right for a bath to cool down before we enter the deep jungle near A Tep. On the last part of day 1, we going down to Prao and see plenty of minority houses located at the Ho Chi Minh Trail. See the different kinds of living, working and being and visit friendly and happy people managing their hard life. With the mind full of impressions we reached Prao town to stop overnight. Free time at night let you imagine the passing day. 
Day 2: Prao town – My Son – Hoi An 
After breakfast, we start at 8.30 am and following the Ho Chi Minh Trail again. The big and very nice road takes us to some beautiful lakes on the bottom of the huge mountains. In Thanh My we leaving the HoChi Minh Trail and heading onto My Son, crossing two rivers and riding through the countryside to the World Heritage of  My Son. We arriving at 1 p.m. to have lunch and a deep look into Cham history, is similar to Angkor Wat. Take your time to let set the impressions before we going on the last part to Hoi An. We’ll arrive at 3 pm, enough time to find another hotel or visit the city

OPTION 3: 3 DAYS 2 NIGHT HUE – DMZ - HOI AN VIA HO CHI MINH TRAIL
Day 1: Hue-DMZ. Overnight at Khe Sanh Town
In the morning, we departing from Hue and ride along highway 1A to Quang Tri town. First, we will be visiting “ The high way of Horror’’ where in the summer of 1972 a host of Southern soldiers lost a battle, retreated to Hue and were shoot to death here.  Along this road are the most military Cemeteries in the country. Then, we will visit Long Hung Church and Quang Tri Old Citadel which was a battlefield in 1972 between North and South Vietnam for 81 days and nights. We also stop at Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River (as know 17th Parallel and also the borderline between the South and North Vietnam during the American war). The place where dividing the border of South and North Vietnam during the 20 years of Civil war.
Next, we visit the Doc Mieu Firebase and stopping for lunch and relax at Cua Tung Queen Beach. After that, we will visit The Vinh Moc Tunnel and have a short stop at the War Martyr Cemetery to pay respects to the soldiers who fought and died on the trail during the American War.  
In the afternoon, continued on Highway 9, you pass the turning south to another US Marines base, Camp Carroll, now a pepper farm. On the way, we will stop for taking the picture to Rock Pile and visit Dakrong bridge. After that, we go to Khe Sanh and stay there for 1 night. Free time at night for walking around the town and try some local food and local coffee which plant in this area.
Day 2: Khe Sanh – A Luoi – Prao. Overnight at Prao Town
In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit Khe Sanh Combat Base ( Ta Con Airport), then go to Ho Chi Minh Trail to go to Aluoi. On this day you can enjoy’’ the real Vietnamese mountain life’’ via Ho Chi Minh Trail. Amazing view with the river, mountain, and the valley… we have lunch in A Luoi town. After lunchtime, we continue to Prao town via Ho Chi Minh Trail, you can see the daily life of Ethnic minorities and the special weather and forest in the tropical countries. We arrive in Prao town at about 5.00 pm and stay there for 1 night.
Day 3: Prao to Da Nang/Hoi An
After breakfast and drink some cup of coffee, we go down to the pass to go to Da Nang city. On the way, you can visit the Ethnic minority village and you can see their house and take the picture, let’s meet them, talk with them, look at them and try to understand them, they are really friendly and helpful, very funny to meet the foreigner tourist. Then you will visit the Tea fields. Then we continue to go down the pass to go to the East Sea (China Beach) and Marble mountain. In the afternoon we will arrive in Hoi An.

If you decide to go straight to Hoi An without stopping for sightseeing, you can take the bus. We will support you to book the bus ticket; someone will pick you up at our hotel on departure date. It takes about 4 – 4.5 hours to get to Hoi An; they will drop you off in the center of the city when you arrive.

** TRAIN
            There is no train station in Hoi An but you can get the train from Hue to Da Nang; then catch a taxi to Hoi An. This is not the best option to travel to Hoi An from Hue.
